Carl Bock
Animated Storytelling for the Historisk Musuem, Oslo
Created for the Historic Museum’s 2025 exhibition, this animated short reimagines the journeys of explorer Carl Bock through the lens of his own 19th-century travel journals. Each frame draws from his original sketches and writings, weaving historic imagery and motion design into a living story.
Displayed alongside the artefacts Bock brought back from Thailand, the animation invites viewers to step into his world—to see the intersection of exploration, memory, and museum storytelling. This project merges animation for museums, digital heritage interpretation, and narrative motion design, bringing history to life through movement and atmosphere.
